While the statue in the center of the fountain at the heart of the Frontlot is cast in stylish bronze fitting into the Frontolt theme, the statue that beckons guests to visit the Toon Studios is a full colored version of Mickey in the costume standing on top of a stylized blue pedastal adorned with silver stars corresponding to the design of the oversized sorcerer's hat that is part of the Art of Animation building just opposite on the other side of the walkway. With his star adorned magic wand Mickey points toward that giant hat and the characters of Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinkerbell circling around it.
The pedastal in the first planter also functions as the sign indicating the name of the area found behind it, which seems to be no longer "Animation Courtyard" but "Toon Studios" - even so it also includes Animagique and the Art of Animation attractions and the new cast member jackets do not list those as part of the Toon Studios.
Compared to earlier sketches and concept arts leaked to the internet the only major element that hasn't been realized with the new statue is the missing "magical arch of ligh" that was to stretch from the magic wand to the giant sorcerer's hat of Art of Animation forming an archway under which guests would have entered the Toon Studios. But it needs to be noted that such an archway would have limited the height of future parade floats (after all the archway at the entrance of Fantasyland had to be taken out for the ImagiNations Parade and the Lights of Winter archways forced the Sleeping Beauty float's dragon in the original 1992 parade to go into a "sleep mode" since he couldn't stretch out completely anymore).
