When Walt Disney created Disneyland he wanted to have the opportunity to tell his stories in three dimensions. He was able to build the sets for his stories - but a certain element was missing: characters.

The improvement of themeing and atmosphere in the Walt Disney Studios park has made another step forward. As had been released already golden Disney Characters were supposed to be added to the giant Sorcerer's Hat that is part of the Art of Animation show building. Now Wendy, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell have been added. While Wendy and Peter Pan are held by "sticks" added to the hat, Tinkerbell balances on top of a spiral that seems to grow out of the backside of the hat which is also used to add some pixie dust.
Soaring around the Sorcerer's Hat they will form on half of the eye catching entrance "gateway" to the Animation Courtyard once its upgrade is done and the Toon Studios 
area opens. The second half of the "gateway" will be formed by a statue of Mickey in his role of Sorcerer's Apprentice pointing his magic wand toward the giant hat. If the early plans are fully realized expect a bow to form between these two as well. The statue is supposed to be placed behind the construction walls on the right side of the current entrance to the Animation Courtyard, next to the planter that had been expanded already alst year with additional trees.
